How it is built
A scarf with a spine.
From the outside it is a fleece wrap. Inside there is a flexible support, padded with foam, that sits under your jaw.
The support does the work
It props your head on one side. You stop holding your head up yourself.
The fleece keeps it in place
Wrapped snug, it makes a small hammock for your jaw.

Packs to the size of a paperback.
It folds down to 8.7 by 9.5 inches and weighs 4.7 oz. Drop it in your bag or wrap it around a handle, and forget about it until you sit down.

How to wear it

How is this different from a U-shaped pillow?
A U-shaped pillow is a cushion around your neck. NODD is a wrap with a flexible support hidden inside. The support sits under your jaw on one side and holds your head where you put it, so it does not drop forward when you fall asleep.
Does it work in a middle or aisle seat?
Yes. The support holds your head on its own, so you do not need a window or a neighbor to lean on. It works on the left, on the right, or under the chin.
Travel Pillow or Pillow Cool?
Same shape, same support. The Travel Pillow is fleece: soft, warm, and the lighter of the two. Pillow Cool uses a breathable knit with extra padding. It is heavier, and better if you run hot or travel in summer.
Can I wash it?
Yes. Take the support out, machine wash the cover as shown on its care label, and let it dry fully before you put the support back. For the sleep mask, follow its care label.
Will it make economy feel like a bed?
No. It will stop your head from dropping, which is what usually wakes you up. That is the whole job.
